Objectives for M. Sc. Programs

  1. To equip students with professional competencies in understanding society as a whole vis-à-vis crime and punishment
  2. To train personnel who may be able to provide leadership in enhancing national security and peace to conduct research and provide pre-crime safety tips, or consultative services to the community.

M. Sc. Criminology:

  1. Understand crime analytics including
  2. investigative tools and case resolution;
  3. Develop Prosecutory skills,
  4. Understand Ethnicity and Crime;
  5. Environmental influences and crimes;
  6. Advocacy and Risk Communication;
  7. Advances in Technology vis-à-vis Criminology;
  8. Penology;
  9. Alternative sentencing and Police Science and how the law works.
